MIDDLE OF HOLY WEEK!

Wednesday, Apr. 1st

THOUGHT:  " THE GREATEST GLORY IN LIVING LIES NOT IN NEVER FAILING....
BUT IN RISING EVERY TIME WE FAIL!!!       Nelson Mandela

Today has been a very nice April's Fools Day.  I haven't run into any problems today!
We got up early and drove to the North Mission to do a zone leader conference.  Greg did his schpeel
and then we took off to go interview 2 doctors to see if we could use them to see the missionaries up in this mission.  The first female "doctor" was all into alternative medicine.  Now, there are a lot of good things in alternative medicine, but the REAL doctors use alternative medicine half the time, so we don't need any more of those kinds of doctors.  She was very nice but nope!!!  The next doctor we looked for - for a long time.  We got quite sufficiently lost!  I took pics of what lost looked like!  That doctor could not give us good directions to her place.  We finally told her to meet us back at the church were the zone leader conference took place.
Greg met the doctor and had a nice visit.  She will be OK to help out with the missionaries.  Two sisters came to the church for Greg to see!  One of them had been quite sick!  She was adorable from southern Chile!  The Titensors were so nice to feed us BBQ chicken sandwiches with the zone leaders and sister trainers.  We had a nice visit with the Jones who are the senior couple that work in the North mission office!  They are from the colonies!
We had a bit of a crazy drive home, but made it safe and sound (it really is a miracle every time we make it back home in one piece).
We had a little dinner and I was off with the other sisters to the English/Spanish class we are doing at the church with our spanish ward!  We have a good time!  My little pea brain is even learning something!  HA!  It was lightening and thundering all the way to the church!  Way cool!!  It started to rain, but by the time our class was over, the storm was gone!  We had a beautiful walk home around 8:30!
PS a shout out to Spencer, Beka, Mitch and Rachel for all of their hard work on finishing up school.
They are all graduating in a few weeks!  My babies are graduating from college!! WHAT IS THAT!!
I GUESS I SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD THOSE KIDS WHEN I WAS 10!!!

That's a huge apartment complex over there!
We were happy the doctor wasn't in there!

These two guys are so cute!
They didn't make a peep so we couldn't tell
if they wanted to play with us or eat us!

We assumed eat - so we left!
Wrong house anyway!

This is where lost begins!
Going up this steep hill on a road that
hasn't been fixed in 100 years!
We almost disappeared in some big holes!!

This is also what lost looks like!
We somehow got into a very poor part of town
Not a place you want to find yourself!!!

Still lost!

The trucks come at you like this and
assume you will move out of their way!

Want me to pick you up a new bike???

Thank heavens this is not my address!
The flowers are pretty!

We did find this really old and cool aqueduct out
in the middle of nowhere!

And we found a lake, but no doctor!!!
