Cabo San Lucas Vacation!

Thank you Shamys and Thompsons for the very fun 5 days!!

Wed Jan 20th
We didn't leave Mexico City until about 2 pm so we went to the Temple in the morning and left our car in the temple parking lot.  It is a lot cheaper to take a taxi from the temple grounds.  We tried Uber for the first time and it was much cheaper than a taxi.  It worked great and we didn't have to worry about cash.  We arrived about 6 pm and got into our room which looked away from the ocean - darn.  We went to Walmart with the Thompsons and ate at VIPS - they had there first experience with VIPS - turned out ok.  

Thurs Jan 21 - 
we got up at 7am and played tennis then had breakfast with the Thompsons in their room.  We lounged and then did some sea kayaking.  Dinner was gourmet prepared by Kevin's brother and we walked into town for ice cream.  

Fri Jan 22 - 
Tennis, breakfast at our place then - played games and sat by the pools and hot tubs.  Dinner was on our shoulders and we took everyone into town to a taco place - big hit.  Of course we had more ice cream.

Sat 23 - 
Tennis, breakfast at the Thompson's and then we got on a glass bottom boat and went out to  the beach to snorkel - lots of fun and lots of fish.  More pool then dinner a la Shamys and games

Sunday 24 - 
We made it to church at the Cabo San Lucas 1st ward - Sacrament meeting in spanish - Sunday school in English with the other tourists and Priesthood in Spanish.  We spent the time in priesthood meeting teaching a new convert about the priesthood.  We made it home and it took me all afternoon to do my report due to slow WIFI.  TheThompson's did dinner -more fish.  That's what we do in Cabo - eat fish.

Mon 25 - Tennis and sitting by the pool until we had to go to the airport to return to Mexico City.

We went to the Temple before we left for Cabo.

We stayed at the Villa Palmar in Cabo

It was a very nice little vacation - almost!
