YAY WE MADE IT!!!

Monday, Aug. 10th

TODAY IS THE DAY!  OUR HALF WAY MARK!!  CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???
9 months down and 9 months to go!
Everyone says the first 6 months go slow and then time goes by quickly after that!
I think they might be right!  We will see!!
Today was a low key day.  We were on FHE refreshments again so we went to Costco to get a lemon cake and raspberries and whip cream.  Sounds good huh?  It was.  We changed with the Toblers because they have their grandsons here and are out with them somewhere.
We ate lunch at City Cafe next to Costco.  I had a fruit smoothie and Greg had strawberry water.  That is our big celebration for the day.
FHE was by Elder Montoya who was filling in for Pres. DeHoyos who is too busy to come most of the time.  He played the Tab Choir singing "Consider the Lillies".  Then asked how we felt about the song or what thoughts we got from it.  We all concluded it brings peace and comfort to our souls!!!
Time is always better when we are busy which is most of the time now.  We are doing a lot of traveling in the next few weeks so that helps!  We are headed to the Veracruz mission tomorrow at
5am.  We will be getting up at 4:30 to be on our way by 5.   Hasta Luego!
PS A sad day today.  I heard my friends Dotty & Kathy's mom died yesterday.  She was one spunky lady!  Marcia Egan.
